The relationship between food and technology has always been very close: cuisine evolution is, after all, the history
of technology’s evolution. In the kitchens of the greatest chefs, from Massimo Bottura to Grant Achaz, one might f nd machines that are
something out of a science laboratory, and technology helps food to be more sustainable, widespread and cost-ef ective. Mold is a magazine born
to enquire about this relationship. The f rst issue deals with cellular architecture as well as the future of 3D-printed food,
going through table design, forks, plates and knives. Mold Tv has recently come into being too, as a series of documentaries distributed online.
