In spite of the stereotypes about household cooking, the food and beverage world is still largely dominated by men.
Render is a food magazine that undertakes to reverse this trend, showing the feminine – and feminist
– side of the food industry along the food production chain. It is a quarterly magazine which was founded in 2014
in Portland, Oregon, by Gabi De León, its current Creative Director. Render is always able to strike the right
balance between its political and practical side – be it lifestyle or recipes.
