after Gaetano’s son), of the storage area and in particular of the state-of-the-art bottling line, a renovation that required a
major investment. Reaching the heart of Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo, among the f elds of Western Veneto, formerly
the vineyard of ancient Rome and of the Most Serene Republic of Venice, is a surprising experience and reveals the spirit
that drives the company. Just beyond the historical Villanova English oak (a splendid monumental tree over 500 years old),
the company’s main building appears as a distinctive red farmhouse. Just behind it, as if there were a line between “old”
and “new”, which harmonizes instead of dividing, grow plants that stand out for their fascinating contemporary shapes.
