the headquarters of Santa Margherita, this inscription is the physical and symbolic door which leads into the
premises of the old Gruppo Vinicolo. The sentence was chosen as a motto by Gaetano Marzotto when he was
S awarded the earldom in 1939. Allergic to the dust of heraldry, the founder of Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinico-
lo summarized here a message that, to this day, is the soul of the company. A heart made of two inseparable pieces: care for
tradition, evoked by Latin and embodied by a business managed by the same family for over 80 years, and work and know-
how as driver of feeling. Inextricably linked to work and to the fertility of man’s roots is the power of technique, the ability to
