          In the past, reading about food was an activity



          that only kitchen professionals dedicated


          time to. Nowadays, publications about food,



          ingredients and cuisine keep on increasing


          and improving, thus becoming more beautiful,



          complete and original. At the same time,


          people are more and more willing to buy them.



          Subjects range from design to history, art and


          photography, thus demonstrating that food is



          far more than just something to eat. We chose


          nine magazines because they represent nine



          dif erent – and beautiful – ways


          in which this subject is addressed.
