Using only “slow” machinery, i.e. mechanical machinery without the automatisms of mass production,
Bonotto’s master craftsmen have been producing fabrics of excellent quality since 1912. Many of the
garments paraded on the catwalks of the most prestigious Made in Italy fashion brands, from Chanel

to Gucci, come from this factory located in the province of Vicenza. The creative director Giovanni
Bonotto calls it “art craft” and believes that it will be fundamental for the growth of Italy. Here he shares
his entrepreneurial vision, his hopes for the future and – last but not least – his favorite wines and foods.
