With her brilliant f lm career Sof a Coppola has followed her father’s footsteps, choosing to stay behind
the camera, but she has done it with her own personality, being successful in a dif erent way. With wine,
too, Sof a Coppola has walked along a path already well-trodden by her family. She grew up between the
vineyards in the Napa Valley, California, and the f lm sets, and today, having just earned a great award
in Cannes (the Prix de la mise en scène for The Beguiled), she is still attached to the winery created by
Francis. Among other wines, it also produces a wine called Sof a – as luminous and sparkling as the
Sof a who has talked about her passions in this interview.
