Along with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, this small restaurant (it seats 30 persons) offers a cuisine based on fish. It is a place where the rituals of the table and creativity are given free rein. The large cellar specializes in white wines.

   Raw horse mackerel
   (Crudo di Sugarello)

  • 8 sugarelli (*)
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 40 grams cauliflower
  • 5 strawberries
  • 50 grams chopped toasted almonds
  • Extra virgin oil of Liguria
  • Balsamic vinegar of Modena


    Fillet the mackerel and arrange the slices on a serving platter. Finely slice the vegetables and garlic and sprinkle them over the fish. Add the strawberries cut in cubes and, at the end, the toasted almonds. Baste with Ligurian extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar of Modena.

    (*) A species belonging to the “bluefish family,” which is also found in the Mediterranean. Known also under the names horse mackerel, buck mackerel, scad.

    Santa Margherita

    A dry white wine with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections, it has an elegant structure and a full, fruity and floral bouquet with notes of elderberry flowers and honey. The flavor is rich and fragrant with a persistent finish accompanied by refreshing acidity.
