Situated in the center of Recco, Ristorante Da Lino, in classic style and completely furnished in mahogany, consists of three communicating rooms, two spacious and the third more modest. The comfortable and elegant establishment offers guests the possibility of tasting excellent fish dishes, authentic focaccia with cheese, typical trofiette (pasta) al pesto, risotto alla marinara, grilled and oven-roasted fish and a wide selection of wines. Forty years of experience and reliability in offering a traditional Ligurian cuisine served with appealing courtesy and hospitality.

   Chestnut Bavarian cream
   (Bavarese ai marroni)

  • 1/4 liter whole milk
  • 150 grams cream of chestnuts
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 leaves fish gelatin
  • 1/2 liter cream
  • fondant chocolate
  • whipped cream
  • 2 marrons glacés



  • Melt the fish gelatin in cold water in a bowl. Beat the egg yolks with the cream of chestnuts and blend in the softened gelatin and 1/4 liter of milk, which has been brought to a boil. Mix well to obtain a smooth cream and cook it in a double boiler for about 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool and, in the meantime, whip 1/2 liter of cream and incorporate it in the chestnut mixture. Pour the mixture into four small molds and place them in the refrigerator for at least four hours. Garnish with fondant chocolate scales, whipped cream and bits of marrons glaces.

    Santa Margherita

    The brilliant yellow colour with golden reflections seems to mirror the sunny character of the wine. At the base of the bouquet, a delectably honeyed, sweetish perception with tones of apricot jam and dried exotic fruit against a vanilla background. The palate immediately detects sweet, warm and soft sensations provided by a combination of alcohol and sugars but balanced by refreshing acidity, a component that gives Dulcedo remarkable equilibrium. A light vein of vanilla melds perfectly with fruity notes in pleasant succession. Powerful and at the same time delicate, the flavour transmits all its sweetness and complexity in a way that surprises.
