Recipes for the Whole Year



The Mother's Day, a special occasion that is celebrated throughout the world. The menu for this day is simple and fresh, for a meal to be enjoyed with affection, in happiness and tenderness.

   Cherry pie

500 g./1 lb. 2 oz. cherries - 6 dl. full fat milk - 100 g./3 1/2 oz. flour - 100 g./3 1/2 oz. icing sugar - 1 pckt. vanilla sugar - 3 eggs - butter - salt


Heat milk and leave to cool down; in a casserole dish sieve flour, sugar and a pinch of salt and break eggs whole in the centre beaten with a fork and mix. Pour a little milk at a time, mixing continuously until an even mix without any grains forms. Pour the mixture into an oven dish greased with butter and cook in hot oven at 200° for 30 minutes. Before serving cut into a cardboard the same shape as the cake the works "Happy Mothers' Day", place on the surface and dust with icing sugar.

N.B. Ingredients are given for 4 portions.

Santa Margherita


Excellent as an aperitif or base for fruit cocktails, ideal after meals with fresh fruit or pastries.

Serve at:
8°-10° C.
