Recipes for the Whole Year



All this month's recipes have been designed specially so that they can be prepared before Christmas. Choose the ones you like best and create your own Christmas menu, between rushing out for last-minute shopping and the festive preparations.

Savory Santa Claus pie Seasonal biscuits
Goose with radish Reindeer punch


   Reindeer Punch

1 l./2 pt. milk - stick vanilla - zest of one orange - 60 g./2 oz. sugar - pinch cinnamon - small cup cocoa powder - 2 cups Distillato Uva Pinot Grigio Santa Margherita


Boil milk with vanilla, orange zest (yellow part only), sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. When it reaches the boil, turn out flame and, beating quickly with a whisk, gradually add in cocoa powder and aqua vitae. Sieve and serve hot.

N.B. Ingredients are given for 4 portions.

This is the new dessert wine produced by Cantine Santa Margherita. White, with a special golden color; warm notes of honey and vanilla; intense, sharp and enticing bouquet. Rich and dense to the palate, it leaves a decisive impression.

Serve at:
