One track more tours. Tourism, art, culture, customs, gastronomy, wine tasting, traditions: every month a trip with a single theme and multiple excursions, real and virtual, all around Italy.

  [January]
Snowlife
  Trentino-Alto Adige

Snowlife, when the bright white snow takes over the highest mountain tops, giving the landscapes a new shape: it's an unmistakable sign of a change of season, the perception of which is now getting lost down in the "valley life".

  [February]
Love is...
  Veneto

Venice, probably the most romantic place in Italy: during this month, the city gets its charm even emproved by the occurrence of its famous Carnival, the most beautiful in Italy.

  [March]
In the country
  Tuscany

Going across the country, through its narrow streets, it would be hard to find straight roads: there's just a few houses, and you would not so often see villages, cars or farm tractors. On your sides there are fields and hills, cornfields and vines; here's a farm, a little bar, a canteen.

  [April]
Easter in
   Franciacorta

  Franciacorta

Franciacorta, a "noble" land located in the district of Brescia, is out of the most typical touring routes, but it is with no doubt worth a visit, easy to reach from Milan, Brescia, Bergamo. We chose it as a goal for our Easter itinerary.

  [May]
Fetes and festivals
   in Chianti

  Tuscany

May, in the Catholic religion, is the month dedicated to the Madonna, while, for country people, it heralds the reawakening of nature. Our journey through the land of Chianti Classico unwinds amidst religious architecture, natural beauties and the lively celebrations established by Tuscan traditions.

  [June]
The coulors of
   the Dolomites

  Trentino-Alto Adige

The mountains are changing colour: the white of the snow has given way to the first shy spring hues that tinge the mountain tops more clearly day by day. The most striking is the red blaze of the rocks in the Dolomites as they reflect the glory of sunrise and sunset...

  [July]
The lake in
   the summer

  Franciacorta

Our July itinerary is set amongst the undulating hills of Franciacorta, which roll gently down to Lake Iseo. Here, surrounded by nature, the country landscapes and the lake, you can savour the relaxation of fishing or the thrill of crossing the water driven by the wind.

  [August]
The northern
   Adriatic

  Veneto

Sandy beaches, running long and wide as far as the eye can see; blue sea and relatively crowded towns and tourist attractions (as almost everywhere in summer), although the area is never totally "overrun".

  [September]
Amongst wines
   and castles

  Trentino-Alto Adige

In September, in Trentino -Alto Adige, you will be met by the hues of the wine harvest. This is one of the best periods to visit the region. The castles scattered along the ridges, in the woods, in the valleys and on the banks of the lakes play a leading role in this itinerary, as the surviving evidence of a tradition with age-old roots.

  [October]
Fruits of the forest
  Franciacorta

The woods are most beautiful in autumn, and also most productive, giving us all kinds of goodies to compensate for the ending of summer. We propose an itinerary that starts out from the hills of Franciacorta and then sneaks into Val Camonica to discover what the woods can offer us: mushrooms, chestnuts, honey, to be consumed "on the spot" or used in delicious recipes accompanied by a good bottle of wine. Wine is a real speciality of this area.

  [November]
The pork
   season

  Veneto

When winter draws near, it is time for the pig slaughter. We dedicate this November itinerary to the pig and its meat, going on a voyage of discovery to seek out the traditions and the gastronomic virtues of this animal in the Veneto region. Here too, as in many other regions of Italy, the pig slaughter is a time for celebration.

  [December]
Natale in Toscana
  Tuscany

Now we escape from the thousands of lights that are starting to illuminate the chaotic and traffic-ridden streets of the city to immerse ourselves in the beautiful hills of Chianti Classico country. This is where our Christmas itinerary unwinds, in one of the loveliest areas of Tuscany.
