Ingredients:
500 g cherries
6/10 l full cream milk
100 g flour
100 g icing sugar
1 packet vanilla-infused sugar
3 eggs
butter
salt
Preparation:
Scald the milk and then leave to cool. Sift the flour into a bowl with the sugar and a pinch of salt. Make a well in the center of the flour and add the eggs. Mix well with a fork, adding the milk a little at a time until the batter is smooth. Wash the cherries, cut them in half and remove the stones. Add the cherries to the batter. Pour into a buttered ovenproof dish and cook in a hot oven at 200° C for 30 minutes. Before serving, place a paper template with a suitable greeting on top of the cake. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Carefully remove the template
