In the Prosecco zone there is a precious gem: in the district of Cartizze, a small area of around 106 hectares in the commune of Valdobbiadene, a particularly high-quality Prosecco called Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze is produced. The particular exposure of this cru and the specific soil composition give the grapes here distinctive characteristics of excellence.
Tasting notes
This renowned sparkling wine is a bright straw yellow in appearance, with a fine, persistent perlage. Its intense and elegant bouquet, with notes of fresh fruit and acacia honey, leads into a flavor that evolves in a finely-balanced crescendo of freshness and mellowness, vivacity and roundedness, tanginess and sweetness, all sustained by the pleasing presence of distinctly fruity notes.
