Today, the Santa Margherita group owns splendid wine making properties in Veneto, Alto Adige, Lombardy, Tuscany and Sicily.
These two last regions, new frontier lands of Italian enology, have been selected together with the “Venezie” area - the territory that extends between the Alps and the Venetian lagoon -, Santa Margherita's spiritual homeland, to launch the Estates Selections project.
Here, the expert skills of Santa Margherita’s winemakers have been channeled towards producing top-class interpretations of two indigenous varieties Sangiovese and Pinot Grigio and two international grapes, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
In these areas, a deeply-felt bond with the wine producing zones manifests itself in very careful control over the whole of the production process, guaranteeing a natural style that conveys intact into the glass the very profound essences of the wines’ terroirs of origin.
